AUDIBLE FROM THE COACH: Trying to fill a lot of positions on both sides of the ball, outlook and expectations never change working to be on top!

The Vikings struggled in 2017, dropping 5 regular season games including going 1-3 in the region. This season they return five starters on offense and six on defense. They were potent on offense last season and the defense was respectable. they got off on a bad start with a debacle in Summerville with a loss that should have been a win. They ran into a buzz saw at Hanna without a full roster due to the Summerville incident. This is a team that should be competitive for the top spot in the region but this this eight team region is LOADED and will not be an easy road. Four of the seven region games are on the road so the Vikings have their work cut out for them. They could finish anywhere in the top four of this region, which is the toughest in the state.

My take: I think the Vikings will compete with Dorman and Boiling Springs for a top spot.
